Social Justice Educators' Collaborative

The Social Justice Educators' Collaborative was started in 2014 by several area teachers looking to create a safe space outside of school where educators could meet to collaborate, share ideas, vent frustrations, etc. It has become a professional network that is for all involved both a practical resource and a supportive community. The group meets about once a month, usually on a Wednesday evening, with teachers from Champaign, Urbana, Danville, and Rantoul, as well as U of I grad students in attendance.
