Choice Days are here. Kindergarten registration for the 2020-21 school year is January 2 - March 31 (extended to April 15). During this time, parents are invited to learn about our schools and then register to rank your school choices at our new location:

Center for Family and Community Engagement
Mellon Building, 703 S. New St., Champaign
Registration hours are 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday (Extended deadline hours are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 14 ONLY)

Students who register after the registration period will be assigned to schools according to seat availability.

How to register:

To register for kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2020. Even if your incoming kindergartener already has an older sibling in the district, he or she should register during this time.

The steps below will walk you through the Schools of Choice registration process for students entering kindergarten and those new to the district entering grades 1-8. These steps and more about each school are also included in the 2020-21 Schools of Choice Registration Guide (PDF). If your student is new to the district entering grades 9-12, contact the Champaign Unit 4 Administrative Center on Windsor Road at 217-351-3800.
